Greenlight
Optics is a world leader in projection optics design and manufacturing. We started developing LCOS miniature
projection over 15 years ago while with 3M company and introduced the world to Picoprojectors at
CES in 2008. Our experience designing
and manufacturing DLP projection engines and low f/# projection lenses goes
back even further.
Today,
Greenlight Optics is a highly sought after
partner to companies developing and launching new commercial, consumer,
medical, industrial, transportation and security products that include
projection capability. Greenlight has
developed custom projection engines for Machine Vision, Additive Manufacturing
(3D Printing), Head Up Displays, 3D Metrology, Augmented Reality, and
specialized rear and front Projection Displays.
Our expertise includes LED and laser illumination and DLP, LCOS, and
MEMS scanning microdisplays.
The
key skills and capabilities that enable us to develop and manufacture world
leading projection systems includes:
advanced illumination optical design using TracePro and
custom software, broad spectrum (UV-VIS-IR) projection lens design,
opto-mechanical engineering including tolerance analysis and design for
manufacturing, projection engine component manufacturing including plastic
optics, assembly including Trioptics alignment station, and custom functional
tester development.
